About
Money is taught to adults.
We teach it sooner.
Financial Futures is a student-led financial literacy initiative empowering the next generation of students and leaders with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make informed financial decisions.
Our mission
Financial literacy shouldn't have to wait until adulthood.
Financial education should do more than teach definitions — it should prepare students for real life. Through approachable, interactive learning, Financial Futures helps students understand how to manage, grow, and make thoughtful decisions with their money.
The goal is to give students the foundation to build stronger financial futures for themselves — while developing the confidence to create a positive impact on the people and communities around them.

Ariella Nazanin
Founder, Financial Futures
Financial Futures began with a simple realization: students are handed real financial decisions long before anyone explains how money works.
Students are expected to make increasingly important financial decisions without always being taught how money actually works. That gap is where Financial Futures started.
Founder Ariella Nazanin developed an interest in financial literacy — and in building a financially successful future — early. What she didn't find was an abundance of accessible financial education written for students her age.
Students learn mathematics, science, history, and literature. Many still reach adulthood without understanding the financial decisions waiting for them.
At the same time, young people grow up surrounded by increasingly sophisticated advertising, social media, consumer culture, and marketing built to influence what they buy and how they spend.
Financial Futures was created to help close that gap: approachable, engaging financial education that helps students understand their money, recognize the forces shaping their decisions, and start building strong habits earlier.
What started as an effort to make an impact within one community has a larger vision — expanding access to financial education for students across communities, states, and eventually beyond.
